The rules for using Cat Clapping AI: who can use it, what you may upload, credits, payments and refunds.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Cat Clapping AI at https://catclappingai.org. By using the service, you agree to them.

The Service

Cat Clapping AI lets you upload a photo of your pet, and optionally a photo of a person, and generate a short AI video in the style of the cat clapping meme. Cat Clapping AI is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Aleksandr Kim (@merkurianin), who created the original clip, or by Instagram, Meta, TikTok or ByteDance.

Who Can Use It

You must be 18 or older to use Cat Clapping AI. You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for everything done with your account.

What You May Upload

  • Only upload photos you own or have permission to use.
  • Anyone shown in a photo must be 18 or older and must have agreed to be in the video.
  • No photos of celebrities or public figures.
  • No photos of someone else's pet without the owner's permission.
  • No hateful, sexual or illegal content.

How You Use Your Videos

You keep the rights you have in your photos, and you give us a limited permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you. You may use and share the videos you make, subject to these Terms and the rights of others. You are responsible for how and where you post your clip; please label it as AI-generated.

AI Output

AI results vary. A video may not look exactly like your photo, and we don't guarantee that every video will turn out the way you expect. Check your video before you share it.

Credits and Payments

  • Videos are paid for with credits: one credit per second of video.
  • Credits come in one-time packs. There is no subscription, and pack credits don't expire.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, in US dollars. Prices are shown before you pay.
  • If a render fails, the credits it used are returned to your account automatically.
  • Refund requests for purchases are handled case by case: email [email protected] with the details.

Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or break these Terms, for example by uploading content that isn't allowed or by trying to attack or overload the site.

Service Provided "As Is"

Cat Clapping AI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use Cat Clapping AI after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
